About us

Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam was established by Sri Adi Sankara in the year 482 B.C. (see About and History) and has the distinction of an unbroken line of 70 Acharyas (spiritual leaders). The Peetam has initiated and successfully established several educational, Cultural and Wellness initiatives across India and abroad.

Create conscious society so children receive wholesome enrichment and grow into healthy balanced adults capable of expressing themselves fearlessly and rooted in culture of our land.

Create ooportunities through education for physical, emotional, aesthetic and spiritual dimesions of an individual resulting in happy healthy adults with abilities to live a good life while contributing to the well being of the society.

Enable children to dip into ancient knowledge which several generations strove to preserve and protect in our Nation, along with the modern knowledge.
