Scholastics

Sankara Vidyalaya will enable children to learn regular CBSE curriculum. At the same time, it will also encourage children to learn traditional studies such as Classical Music, Musical Instruments, Sanskrit, Hindu scriptures such as Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bhagavad Gita etc.

The school follows NCERT text books for all classes in the primary and secondary sections. The link for which is given at the bottom of the page.

Examination & Promotions

The examinations during an academic year are conducted in two terms, with two Unit Tests and two Term Examinations.
Students are required to have at least 75% attendance as the first criteria to be eligible to be promoted to the next higher class. Students have to score a minimum of 40% marks in each individual subject with an aggregate of 40% to be eligible to be promoted to the next higher class.

Examination schedules

There will be two Unit Tests and two Term Examinations. Subject enrichment activities, projects and assignments will be given to help the children improve their hands-on experience and competency.

Labs

The school is facilitated with a composite lab for classes 6 to 10. It also has provision for a Math lab, Physics lab, Chemistry lab, Biology lab, Computer labs both for the primary and secondary sections.

Library & Digital Library

The school has a well-equipped library with around 1500 books of various genres that also takes care of the reading club. The digital library enables the students to select and read books of his choice online. The links provided also enable the students to get access to NCERT and Olympiad books for scientific investigation or literature.
